Social studies QQI L5 Meeting and being motivated by fellow adult students, some older than me. The great Irish society, it's challenges and it's diversity, mutual respect to each other. Interpersonal communication and Importance of team work. I did exceptionally well in my final exam, that motivated me a lot. The Guidance Service did a priceless presentation in class on further studies progression routes and some useful links. A special thank you to friendly management and staff of Finglas Adult Education Centre. To my dear tutor Rebbecca Callaghan, very awesome communicator, smart, clarity, motivating and always cheerful to everybody.

Hadn't studied or done an exam in a longtime so the course was a great way to do this and test my ability and skills. All about sociology and how it was first defined and how it's used in everyday life. We all had personal life experience to share amongst each other so we could all relate to each other. Feeling very comfortable in the course centre and with my tutor and classmates. I spoke to Jacqui who was very helpful in finding a good fit for me after the Social Studies course. My tutor was brilliant. Made me feel totally comfortable with any questions or worries I had. She was very friendly and made the course content interesting and fun.

Human Growth and Development and Social Studies Level 5 Open discussions about course content and being valued for my opinions. Everyone can have a different outlook on things and can give a different perspective on the same topic. Confidence I gained in my abilities and encouragement from staff and tutors. Helped me be realistic about my options. Told me about local colleges. Directed me to a readiness for work course Friendly and knowledgeable staff made all the difference along with encouragement.

English Language level 4 and Level 5 I enjoyed being part of the English speaking community, which encouraging me to speak English more, also increase my vocabulary and grammar. Lots of new words and grammar. Learning to be tolerant, to accept everyone with their individual opinions and beliefs. All the effort and energy that I put into doing exercises at classes and at home. They informed me exactly where I can join in different courses. I believe that the most important figure in course is the teacher. I was lucky to have Ken O’Duffy, who was quite good to encourage his students to explore the English language world and he explained perfectly all the grammar.

Animal Welfare QQI level 4 I really enjoyed learning new things and not feeling too much pressure. It was a nice, relaxed atmosphere I learned a lot about animal nutrition and behavior and the 5 freedoms. I learned new things about different types of animals. I love pigeons and horses My teacher Maria was extremely nice and patient with us all and helped us a lot. I feel that the adult education centre in Finglas should be able to run the Animal Welfare level 5 for the students who have successfully passed the level 4. The main reason we done so well was because Maria was such a good tutor and I don't think we will get another tutor with so much patience.

Information Technology Course Tutor was very attentive to all the students and explained the material very clearly, despite the fact that the students were from different countries. Excel, Word, Power point. Our classmates were very friendly, sometimes we helped each other with various changes and answers questions. Very attentive and kind attitude towards students. There is a kitchen where you can relax while enjoying coffee or tea. It is also possible to use a computer. Teachers sometimes conduct interesting and educational excursions.

Very friendly professional and helpful staff helped me look at my situation from the outside and systematize my skills and capabilities. Graphic design course Ballyfermot. I felt very hopeful for my future and incredibly thankful for how much Karen was able to explain and do for me. I was able to learn about and discuss a lot of different options and it gave me the confidence I needed to believe in myself regarding my education. Karen was able to get me connected to people in FIT (FastTrack into Information Technology) who were able to refer me on to a pre-tech apprenticeship. Karen is a such a wonderful genuine person. She took the time to understand me and what suits my personality and then gave me the push I needed to take the leap. I really appreciate my experiences and would happily recommend this service.
