Students from our Irish classes recently enjoyed a tour of the General Post Office on O’Connell Street. They heard about the history of the post office and the important role it played in the Easter Rising of 1916.

The museum holds many important items from the History of the Rising and commemorates the people who died. Tours are available to student groups and to the public. The group highly recommend the tour:
