In this art course, students will learn how to use a range of art materials and explore their creativity. This course will help you develop your knowledge and abilities in basic art and design techniques. It introduces a range of art and design elements in both 2D and 3D and aims to develop your personal creativity and visual awareness. Learners will create a minimum of 6 artworks including a painting, drawing, sculpture and print. This course is suitable for both beginners and people returning to art who wish to learn more in a welcoming and supportive classroom.

This course will suit you if you are a beginner or at intermediate level. It may help you to go on to further study in this area. It may also suit you if you are returning to education and looking for a fun and engaging class.
What do I need to do this course?
You do not need to have any qualifications to do the course. You do not need to have any previous art experience.

- Still Life / Observational Drawing
- Landscape Acrylic Painting
- How to mix colours
- Lino Printing
- Art History Movements / Styles
- Colour Mixing
- Framing / Mounting your artwork
